- Improved scheduling and appointments module, including ability to book rooms and other locations
- Clinician dashboard, new landing experience for users

- Medication charts, including medication administration record and improvements to the 'ongoing medications' module
- Desktop charting to support speciality-specific documentation as well as standard clinical assessments such as wound management and pain assessments
- Inclusion of 'Form' features into the procedures workflow allowing virtually any data to be collected against a procedure in configurable form fields
Jan – Mar 2026Planned
- Enhancements to the invoicing module to support automated invoice generation, and more flexible and adaptable pricing structures
- Medication dispensing, ability to send medication orders to pharmacy and track dispensing
- Expansion of FHIR API to send prescriptions to mSupply
- Expansion of FHIR API to receive lab results directly to Tamanu from SENAITE

- Enhancements to auditability capabilities
- Enhancements to program registries to capture condition categories
- Intelligent patient duplicate detection on new patient creation

- Secure Patient Portal pulling all of a patient's key health information into one place, additionally supports patient form completion and reminders
- Enhancements to location bookings to support a daily view and allocation of surgical lists
- Ability to link a chart to a program registry enabling viewing chart entries across encounters
- Enhancements to streamline the encounter management workflow
Apr – Jun 2026Planned
- Customisable Early Warning Score (EWS) for identification of patients at risk of clinical deterioration
- Enhancements to program forms to edit a program response
- Admin panel enhancements to streamline Tamanu configuration including an interface to manage permissions
